Student as Author: Open Access Publishing Opportunities for IADT Students

This presentation, delivered at IADT's Findings Conference on the 5th June 2024, explores the advantages of library publishing initiatives that focus on open access dissemination of high-quality student theses. The presentation outlines opportunities for students to publish their theses via IADT Library's institutional repository Illustro enhancing the visibility and impact of scholarly work produced at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The presentation explores the values that inform library publishing programmes pertaining to the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion in the scholarly communication landscape.
